Hi Everyone,

I am sorry that this part is a little late. For both this post and my movie that is posted right before this, I used iMovie. It was my first time using iMovie and really using a Mac, but I really loved the program. I only used it for this video for the title, but for my 60 second movie I used a lot of different tools and features.

  1. Hello,

You and I are thinking about this project in similar ways. My storyboard was very similar to yours. I believe we are trying to conceive the best layout options to present the information in an organized way to wash over the audience and not overwhelm which the book describes as a key consideration of the audience. Your inclusion of a color palette was a great idea. I did not think about that. I don't remember what format you chose for your MMP -- what is it? A blog?

I'm interested to see how your project evolves. Mine will be an ongoing project as I grow and learn.

    Thanks for sharing.

  2. Hi Jess,

To answer De Bora's comment, Jess is creating a Wikispace site for her students, giving them a space to post their work for peer review, as well as to provide examples of multimodal compositions for when it comes time to create their own. She's also including resources for her students in reference to the design principles she's picked up as a result of participation in this course. I think that it's an awesome idea and this storyboard is very well thought out, Jess. The conceptualization of this project is quite clear from your map above.

    Nicely done!

  3. Hi Jess,

I like how your formatted your storyboard as a flow chart - since your project is not linear in nature, the flow chart was a great way to show how the navigation in the site will work. I also like that you considered a color palette! I did not incorporate color considerations into my storyboard, but it is an important design decision that will impact the meaning and impression you site gives; it will also effect readability and how inviting it is. I am looking forward to seeing how your project evolves - it looks like it will be a great resource!
